To preface this review i should mention that I’ve had Parkinson’s disease (a progressively degenerative neurological illness) that affects automatic muscle control and over time causes dizziness and balance issues (along with many other symptoms).
I’m constantly looking for ways to improve my quality of life and hopefully by extension help improve others quality of life, that are likewise afflicted, by example but in this case I’m so excited I’ve hit the jackpot!!!
My 4 concerns prior to testing this etrike were stability, comfort, reliability (confidence to get me home) and last but certainly not least it had to be FUN!!!
When I had my first ride I was immediately impressed with the comfort and stability… I rode the M360 for about 2 hours while being filmed by Addmotor for a promo and finally hopped off the Etrike literally without experiencing any discomfort in my back or my sit-upon though my legs were like jelly, I’d actually been exercising without realising it!
My involvement in promoting Addmotor the M360 is entirely voluntary, I have no commercial interest in Addmotor nor am I being paid.
I was offered the opportunity for Addmotor to come to me and having had to surrender my drivers license some years ago,
I jumped at the opportunity,
I believe in giving credit where it’s due.
I expect that as people realise the availability of Addmotor eTrikes in Australia at a price that is less than the average mobility scooter but way more fun, there is going to be an influx of Addmotor eTrikes!
I sold my mobility scooter after a couple of years and putting on about 15-20 kg and realising I have a propensity to be lazy…. It was just too easy to be lazy with the mobility scooter.
The stability is unbelievable… I expected the camber of the road to cause problems with l the handling but when I went across gutters or dropped the left rear wheel in the gutter while riding along the road I had complete control over the direction of the trike which is obviously attributable to the research and development that has gone into the design creating the very low center of gravity and the benefit of precise control due to the width and positioning of the handlebars.
This etrike not only looks like it’s been designed by Ferrari it handles like it’s on rails!
With respect to reliability, riding the M360 gives a sense of security and having checked the feedback about Addmotor US where they have a firm foothold in the local market, and I couldn’t find negative feedback, report or complaint.
After the filming and interview was done I lplaced an order for my own Addmotor Arisetan M360
My outstanding recollection of spending time with the Addmotor people was their concern for my safety and the emphasis on honest feedback.
My only complaint was not having rear vision mirrors on the demo bike but I’ll have them on the one I’ve ordered.
So in conclusion I can thoroughly recommend the M360 to everyone but particularly to those that are experiencing balancing issues and are looking for a fun way of exercising and extending your sense of freedom.
If you think you’re going to have difficulty lifting your leg over the frame Addmotor have other step through models.
I live in Mornington in Victoria and if you see me riding the M360 feel free to stop me and ask
me about it.
ENJOY!!!
